Dr. Quinn van Engelen
Dr. Quinn van Engelen was born and raised in Calgary. She attended the University of Calgary for her Bachelor of Science degree and discovered her love for veterinary medicine while volunteering at AARCS, where she ended up foster failing and adopting her dog. Quinn then decided to apply for veterinary school and graduated from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. During her schooling, Quinn led the small animal medicine club and decided caring for companion animals in both a primary care and emergency setting was her passion. Upon graduating, Quinn received the American College of Veterinary Surgeons award for Small Animal Surgery and joined the amazing team at Paramount 24HR Animal Hospital.
When not at the clinic, you can find Quinn lakeside kayaking or paddle boarding with her trusty companion, Skip, travelling, or spending time with her friends and loved ones.
