Meet Our Team

Nicole was born and raised in Calgary. At 18 years old she moved to Edinburgh Scotland to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh in the School Leavers program. Following completion of her degree in 2017, she returned home to Calgary to start the first year of her career before moving back across the pond but this time to Dublin, Ireland. She continued to practice as a General practitioner and it was during this time she developed her passion for emergency medicine and especially surgery.Nicole joined the Paramount team in November of 2021, when she moved home to Calgary.  Nicole feels that she gets the best of both worlds here at Paramount 24 hr Animal Hospital. She looks forward to creating relationships with you and your pets throughout their lives, all the while being able to be there for your pet when it’s needed the most, day or night. When she is not at work, Nicole loves exploring the mountains, trail running and re acquainting herself with the city she grew up in.
