Client Care Specialist/Receptionist
The Client Care Specialist/Receptionist provides support to all staff and ensures that all of our clients receive the best experience while their pet is under our care. This role involves a variety of tasks including payment processing, appointment booking, and answering phones and emails.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients and their pets with enthusiasm and compassion.
- Answering phone calls and emails.
- Scheduling appointments using our practice management software.
- Issuing invoices for treatments and prescribed medications.
- Receiving and verifying payments.
- Ensure the waiting area, reception desk and exam rooms are clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Provide administrative support to veterinarians, veterinary technologists and other staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able maintain a calm and level head under stressful and distressing situations.
